STARTER (for 2.7 kW Type) REMOVAL


  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  2. REMOVE FRONT FENDER SEAL


    1. Remove the 5 clips and ,front fender seal.

  3. DISCONNECT CLUTCH RELEASE CYLINDER ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transmission)

    1. Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the release cylinder.

  4. REMOVE TRANSMISSION OIL FILLER TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Transmission)

    1. Remove the transmission oil level gauge.

    2. Remove the 2 bolts and oil filler tube.

    3. Remove the O-ring from the oil filler tube.

  5. REMOVE STARTER ASSEMBLY


    1. A01DVDI

      Disconnect the starter connector.

    2. Remove the nut and disconnect the starter wire.

    3. for Manual Transmission:


      1. A01DZXT

        Remove the nut and bolt, and disconnect the ground cable.

    4. for Automatic Transmission:


      1. A01E2QV

        Remove the 2 nuts and bolt, and disconnect the ground cable.

    5. Remove the starter assembly.
