The vacuum pump assembly is listed as one of the 200000 km (124000 mile) maintenance parts. Make sure to disassemble and inspect it every 200000 km (124000 miles) and replace parts as necessary.

PROCEDURE


  1. DISCONNECT ENGINE WIRE

  2. DISCONNECT UNION TO CONNECTOR TUBE HOSE


    1. A01ODYJ

      Slide the clip and disconnect the union to connector tube hose from the vacuum pump assembly.

  3. DISCONNECT NO. 2 VACUUM TRANSMITTING HOSE ASSEMBLY


    1. Disconnect the No. 2 vacuum transmitting hose assembly from the vacuum pump assembly.

  4. REMOVE VACUUM PUMP ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 4 bolts and vacuum pump assembly from the engine assembly.

    2. A01ODY8C01
      *1 No. 2 O-ring
      *2 No. 3 O-ring

      Remove the No. 2 and No. 3 O-rings from the vacuum pump assembly.
