HYBRID CONTROL SYSTEM, Diagnostic DTC:P0AF4-673 and P0AF5-674
| DTC Code | DTC Name |
|---|---|
| P0AF4-673 | Sensor of Rear Motor Inverter Temperature (Open / GND Short) |
| P0AF5-674 | Sensor of Rear Motor Inverter Temperature (Circulate of Power Supply) |
DESCRIPTION
The MG ECU, which is built into in the inverter with converter assembly, detects the temperature of the rear motor inverter using a temperature sensor built into the inverter with converter assembly. The inverter cooling system operates independently of the engine cooling system. The MG ECU uses signals from the rear motor inverter temperature sensor to check the effectiveness of the inverter cooling system. If necessary, the MG ECU will limit inverter output to help prevent the inverter from overheating. The MG ECU also detects malfunctions in the rear motor inverter temperature sensor and its wiring.
