      Use V blocks and a dial indicator to check the runout of the torsion bar spring.

      Maximum
      2.0 mm (0.079 in.)

      Note

      Set the dial indicator perpendicular to the middle of the torsion bar spring.

      If the value is not within the specified range, replace the torsion bar spring with a new one.
