THERMOSTAT INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

  1. INSTALL ENGINE WATER HOUSING COVER

    1. A325089

      Install a new water housing cover gasket to the engine water housing cover.

    2. Install the engine water housing cover with the 4 bolts.

      8.0 N*m

      82 kgf*cm

      71 in.*lbf

      Tip:

      Be sure to clean the contact surfaces.

    3. Engage the clamp to the engine water housing cover.

    4. Connect the No. 1 radiator hose to the engine water housing cover and slide the clip to secure it.

    5. Connect the No. 2 radiator hose to the engine water housing cover and slide the clip to secure it.

  2. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  3. ADD ENGINE COOLANT

  4. CHECK FOR ENGINE COOLANT LEAK
