DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE SENSOR(w/ GPF) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. CONNECT VACUUM TRANSMITTING HOSE ASSEMBLY


    1. Connect the vacuum transmitting hose assembly to the No. 1 tube and slide the clip to secure it.

  2. INSTALL DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE SENSOR


    1. Install the sensor bracket to the intake air connector with the bolt.

      Torque:
      6.3 N*m  { 64 kgf*cm, 56 in.*lbf }

    2. Install the differential pressure sensor to the sensor bracket with the bolt.

      Torque:
      6.3 N*m  { 64 kgf*cm, 56 in.*lbf }

      *c 120°

      Connect the vacuum transmitting hose assembly to the differential pressure sensor and slide the clip to secure it.

      Tech Tips

      Install the vacuum transmitting hose assembly and hose clamps as shown in the illustration.

    4. Connect the 2 clamps and differential pressure sensor connector.

  3. LEARNING DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE SENSOR


    1. Start the engine and allow it to idle until the engine coolant temperature reaches 75°C (167°F) or higher (A).

    2. Turn the engine switch off and wait for 30 seconds or more (B).

    3. Repeat the above procedures (A) and (B) 3 times.

      Tech Tips

      Procedures (A) and (B) must be repeated 3 times to complete the differential pressure sensor learning process.
