INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (BUCKLE SWITCH)

    1. Disconnect the F12 belt connector.

    2. Measure the resistance of the buckle switch.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 - 2 Seat belt is unfastened (ON) Below 1 Ω
      Seat belt is fastened (OFF) 1 MΩ or higher

    NG

    REPLACE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY

    OK

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BELT - METER AND BODY GROUND)


    1. Disconnect the F12 belt connector.

    2. Disconnect the C25 meter connector.

    3. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Specified Condition
      F12-1 - C25-11 (BKL) Below 1 Ω
      F12-2 - Body ground

    NG

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    OK

    REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY
