CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER (w/ No. 1 Engine Cover)

  2. SEPARATE SENSOR BRACKET (w/o Stop And Start System)

      Disconnect the connector from the differential pressure sensor.

    2. A257250

      Remove the nut and separate the sensor bracket from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly.

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 CRANK POSITION SENSOR (w/o Stop And Start System)

      Disconnect the connector from the No. 1 crank position sensor.

    2. A257252

      Remove the bolt and No. 1 crank position sensor from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly.

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 CRANK POSITION SENSOR (w/ Stop And Start System)

      Disconnect the connector from the No. 1 crank position sensor.

    2. Remove the bolt and No. 1 crank position sensor from the timing chain cover sub-assembly.
