LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OPENER SYSTEM


  1. FUNCTION OF MAIN COMPONENTS


    1. The luggage door opener system consists of the following parts:

      Component Function
      Luggage Door Closer Assembly Operates a door lock motor that unlatches the door electro-mechanically.
      Luggage Door Opening Switch Assembly Unlocks the luggage door closer assembly.
      Main Body ECU (Network Gateway ECU)

      • Receives signals from the luggage door opening switch assembly, the skid control ECU and the transmission control switch, and operates the luggage door opener system.

      • Outputs open signals to the luggage door closer assembly and activates the opening motor.

      • Brake Actuator Assembly


        • Skid Control ECU

      		 Sends the vehicle speed signal to the main body ECU (network gateway ECU).

      • Floor Shift Shift Lever Assembly*1


        • Transmission Control Switch

      		 Sends the P range signal to the main body ECU (network gateway ECU).
      Emergency Luggage Door Opener*2 In an emergency, the luggage door can be opened from the inside by pulling this lever.
