PRE-CRASH SAFETY SYSTEM WARNING BUZZER REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

  1. PRECAUTION

    Note:

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

  3. REMOVE CENTER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL

  4. REMOVE NO. 3 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY

  5. REMOVE NO. 4 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY

  6. REMOVE TELLTALE LIGHT ASSEMBLY

  7. REMOVE STEREO OPENING COVER (w/o Audio)

  8. REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (w/ Audio, for Radio Receiver Type)

  9. REMOVE RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (w/ Audio, for Radio and Display Type)

  10. REMOVE NAVIGATION RECEIVER (w/ Navigation System)

  11. REMOVE SKID CONTROL BUZZER (PRE-CRASH SAFETY SYSTEM WARNING BUZZER)

    1. B425042

      Using a clip remover, detach the clamp and remove the skid control buzzer (pre-crash safety system warning buzzer).

    2. Disconnect the connector.
