PROCEDURE

  1. CHECK SPEAKER

    1. Check the malfunctioning speakers.

  2. CHECK FRONT SIDE SPEAKER

    1. Check the malfunctioning speakers.

    INSPECT FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLYClick here

  3. INSPECT FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY

    1. Temporarily replace the front No. 2 speaker assembly with a new or normally functioning one (Click here).

    2. Check that the malfunction disappears.

      Tip:
      • Connect all the connectors to the front No. 2 speaker assemblies that were disconnected.

      • When there is a possibility that either the right or left front speaker is defective, inspect by interchanging the right one with the left one.

      • Perform the above inspection on both LH and RH sides.

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY)

    1. Disconnect the H107 radio and display receiver assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the H41*1 and/or H42*2 front No. 2 speaker assembly connector.

      *1: for RH Side

      *2: for LH Side

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

  5. INSPECT FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the front No. 1 speaker assembly (Click here).

    2. Inspect the front No. 1 speaker assembly (Click here).

    REPLACE FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY

  6. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY - FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY)

    *1: for RH Side

    *2: for LH Side

    1. Disconnect the H41*1 and/or H42*2 front No. 2 speaker assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the J12*1 and/or K12*2 front No. 1 speaker assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

  7. INSPECT REAR SPEAKER ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the rear speaker assembly (Click here).

    2. Inspect the rear speaker assembly (Click here).

    REPLACE REAR SPEAKER ASSEMBLY

  8. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - REAR SPEAKER ASSEMBLY)

    1. Disconnect the H108 radio and display receiver assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the L5*1 and/or M5*2 rear speaker assembly connector.

      *1: for RH Side

      *2: for LH Side

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
