COOLER EXPANSION VALVE INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL COOLER EXPANSION VALVE

   1. Apply sufficient compressor oil to 2 new O-rings and the fitting surfaces of the cooler expansion valve.

      Compressor Oil

      ND-OIL 8 or equivalent

   2. Install the 2 O-rings to the No. 1 cooler evaporator sub-assembly.

   3. Using a 4 mm hexagon wrench, install the cooler expansion valve with the 2 hexagon bolts.

      3.5 N*m

      36 kgf*cm

      31 in.*lbf

2. CONNECT AIR CONDITIONING TUBE

3. INSTALL NO. 3 COWL TOP PANEL INSULATOR (for 2WW)

4. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE COVER (for 2WW)

5. CHARGE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM WITH REFRIGERANT

6. WARM UP ENGINE

   Click here

7. INSPECT FOR REFRIGERANT LEAK
