YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR INSTALLATION

  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL YAW RATE SENSOR ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the yaw rate sensor assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      14.5 N*m  { 148 kgf*cm, 11 ft.*lbf }

      Note


      • Do not drop the yaw rate sensor assembly.

      • If the yaw rate sensor assembly is dropped, replace it with a new one.

    2. Connect the connector to the yaw rate sensor assembly.

      Note

      Make sure that the yaw rate sensor assembly connector is connected securely.

  2. INSTALL FRONT NO. 2 CONSOLE BOX INSERT

  3. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

  4. PERFORM CALIBRATION


    1. When the yaw rate sensor assembly is replaced, perform calibration.

      for VSC System: Click here

      for Dynamic Torque Control AWD System: Click here

  5. PERFORM REGISTRATION (w/ Stop And Start System)


    1. When the yaw rate sensor assembly is replaced, perform registration.

  6. CHECK AND CLEAR DTC
