RADIATOR REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL

  2. REMOVE LOWER FRONT BUMPER COVER

    Click here

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  4. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT

    Click here

  5. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  6. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER

    Click here

  7. REMOVE RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR RH

    1. A308742

      Using a clip remover, detach the 3 claws and remove the clip and radiator side deflector RH.

  8. REMOVE RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR LH

    1. A308741

      Using a clip remover, detach the 3 claws and remove the clip and radiator side deflector LH.

  9. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE

    1. Slide the 2 clamps and remove the No. 1 radiator hose from the radiator assembly and water inlet.

  10. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE

    1. A223077

      Slide the clamp and remove the No. 2 radiator hose from the water inlet.

    2. A226473

      Detach the clamp.

    3. Slide the clamp and remove the No. 2 radiator hose from the radiator assembly.

  11. REMOVE RADIATOR RESERVOIR ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the reservoir hose.

    2. Remove the 3 bolts and radiator reservoir assembly.

  12. DISCONNECT OIL COOLER TUBE

      Detach the claw to open the flexible hose clamp, and then remove the 2 bolts to disconnect the oil cooler tube from the fan shroud.

  13. REMOVE FAN SHROUD

      Loosen the 4 nuts holding the fluid coupling.

    2. Remove the fan and generator V belt.

      Click here

    3. A223083

      Remove the 2 bolts holding the fan shroud.

    4. Remove the 4 nuts of the fluid coupling, and then remove the fan shroud together with the fluid coupling.

      Note:

      Be careful not to damage

    5. Remove the fan pulley from the engine water pump assembly.

  14. REMOVE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY

    1. A295802

      Slide the 2 clamps and remove the 2 oil cooler hoses from the radiator assembly.

    2. A308518

      Remove the 4 bolts and radiator assembly.

  15. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR TO SUPPORT SEAL

    1. Remove the No. 1 radiator to support seal from the radiator assembly.

  16. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIATOR TO SUPPORT SEAL

    1. Remove the No. 2 radiator to support seal from the radiator assembly.
