LUBRICATION SYSTEM


  1. OUTLINE


    1. A full pressure-feeding and full filtration system using the oil pump is used.

    2. Engine oil is pressure-fed to the top of the cylinder head sub-assembly, flows through the oil return hole provided on the cylinder head sub-assembly or the inside of the timing chain cover assembly and returns to the oil pan sub-assembly.

    3. The Variable Valve Timing-intelligent Wide (VVT-iW) and Variable Valve Timing-intelligent (VVT-i) systems are used. These systems are operated by the engine oil.

    4. A piston jet control system is used to control the supply and cut of engine oil to the piston jets.

    5. An oil pressure switching valve assembly for piston jet control system and relief valve are provided for the engine side module (water inlet housing).
