WIRELESS DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM(w/o Entry and Start System) DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM

  1. CHECK DLC3

    1. Check the DLC3.

      Click here

  2. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE

    1. Measure the vehicle battery voltage.

      Standard Voltage

      11 to 14 V

      If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery.

  3. SELF-DIAGNOSTIC MODE (OPERATING IGNITION KEY CYLINDER)

    1. Switch to self-diagnostic mode.

      1. Within 5 seconds of locking and unlocking the driver door using the lock knob, lock and unlock the driver door.

      2. Turn the ignition switch from off to ON 9 times within 30 seconds (complete this step with the ignition switch off).

        Tip:
        • Turning the ignition switch ON after the step above has been completed will end self-diagnostic mode.

        • If the system fails to enter self-diagnostic mode, the system will remain in normal mode.

    2. Check the diagnostic outputs when a door control transmitter assembly switch is pressed. The diagnostic outputs can be checked by the hazard warning light flashing pattern.
