STEERING PAD SWITCH REMOVAL

Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.
The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

Note:After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work (Click hereClick here).
DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
Note:When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Click hereClick here).

REMOVE STEERING PAD SWITCH ASSEMBLY

Disconnect the connector from the spiral cable.
Tip:If the vehicle is equipped with a cruise control switch and shift paddle switch, disconnect their connectors and connector clamps.

Remove the 2 screws.
Detach the 2 pins and 6 claws and remove the switch assembly.
