CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER(for RHD) DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE MASTER CYLINDER RESERVOIR SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the master cylinder reservoir cap.

    2. Fix the clutch master cylinder assembly in a vise between aluminum plates.

      Note

      Do not overtighten the vise.

    3. Using a pin punch and a hammer, tap out the straight pin and remove the master cylinder reservoir sub-assembly.

  2. REMOVE CLUTCH RESERVOIR GROMMET


    1. Remove the clutch reservoir grommet from the clutch master cylinder assembly.

  3. REMOVE MASTER CYLINDER PISTON SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Using snap ring pliers, remove the snap ring while pushing the clutch master cylinder push rod.

    2. Remove the master cylinder piston sub-assembly and spring from the cylinder body.

      Note

      Do not damage the inside of the cylinder body.
