C1240 Yaw Rate Sensor Discrimination The yaw rate sensor identification information stored in the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) is not consistent with the yaw rate sensor identification information sent via CAN communication continuously for 1 second or more.

Note

When replacing the brake actuator assembly or acceleration sensor (yaw rate sensor), perform zero point calibration and store system information.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK PART NUMBER (YAW RATE SENSOR)


    1. Check that the part number of the installed acceleration sensor (yaw rate sensor) is correct.

      OK
      Acceleration sensor (yaw rate sensor) installed in the vehicle has the correct part number.
      Result
      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    NG

    REPLACE YAW RATE SENSOR Click here

    OK

  2. RECONFIRM DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Click here


      Chassis > ABS/VSC/TRC > Clear DTCs

    2. Turn the engine switch off.

    3. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    4. Check if the same DTC is output.

      Chassis > ABS/VSC/TRC > Trouble Codes
