DRIVE BELT INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

  1. INSTALL V-RIBBED BELT

    1. Install the V-ribbed belt.

  2. ADJUST V-RIBBED BELT

    1. A297844N01

      Turn bolt C to adjust the tension of the V-ribbed belt.

    2. Tighten bolts A and B.

      for bolt A

      25 N*m

      255 kgf*cm

      18 ft.*lbf

      for bolt B

      43 N*m

      438 kgf*cm

      32 ft.*lbf

      Note:

      Confirm that bolt D has not been loosened.

  3. INSPECT V-RIBBED BELT

  4. INSTALL REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER RH

    1. Install the rear engine under cover RH with the 4 clips.

  5. INSTALL NO. 2 CYLINDER HEAD COVER
