DESCRIPTION

The headlight leveling motor receives a signal from the headlight ECU sub-assembly to operate. The headlight ECU sub-assembly receives a signal indicating the operating conditions of the headlight leveling motor. If either headlight leveling motor malfunctions, the headlight ECU sub-assembly LH stores DTC B2417 or B2418.

If the headlight ECU sub-assembly LH has been replaced, it is necessary to synchronize the vehicle information and initialize the headlight ECU sub-assembly LH.

  1. CLEAR DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs.

  2. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    2. Check for DTCs.

  3. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Start the engine.

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / AFS / Active Test.

    5. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the GTS.
