FUEL PUMP REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. 

      Text in Illustration

      *1	O-Ring
      *2	Backup Ring

      Apply a light coat of gasoline to new 2 O-rings, and install the 2 O-rings and backup ring to the fuel pressure regulator assembly.

   2. 

      Install the fuel pressure regulator assembly to the fuel filter.

2. INSTALL FUEL PUMP ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1.

      *1	Fuel Pump Wire harness
      *2	O-Ring
      *3	Fuel Pump Spacer

      Install the new O-ring and fuel pump spacer to the fuel pump assembly.

   2. Connect the new fuel pump wire harness to the fuel pump assembly.

   3. 

      Apply a light coat of gasoline to a seal, and install it to the fuel pump assembly.

   4. Attach the 5 claws of the fuel filter to install the fuel pump assembly.

      Note

      When installing the seal, make sure that it does not become pinched or cut.

3. INSTALL NO. 1 FUEL SUB-TANK

   
   

   1. Set the fuel suction plate sub-assembly to the No. 1 fuel sub-tank using the spring.

      Jet Pump

      Apply a light coat of gasoline to a new O-ring and install the O-ring to the jet pump.

   3. Install the jet pump to the No. 1 fuel sub-tank.

      Note

      
      

      • When installing the O-ring, make sure that it does not become pinched or cut.

      • Securely attach the claws.

   4. 

      Attach the 3 claws to install the fuel filter assembly to the No. 1 fuel sub-tank.

   5. 

      Attach the claw to install the jet pump nozzle to the No. 1 fuel sub-tank.

   6. 

      Install a new E-ring.

   7. 

      Connect the connector.
