      (to Turn Signal Flasher Assembly)

Disconnect the D61 turn signal flasher assembly connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      D61-4 (+B) - Body ground Ignition switch off Below 1 V
      Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V
      D61-1 (IG) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V

If the result is not as specified, repair or replace the wire harness or connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      D61-7 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

If the result is not as specified, repair or replace the wire harness or connector.

      (Turn Signal Flasher Assembly)

Reconnect the D61 turn signal flasher assembly connector.

    5. Measure the voltage according to the valve(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
D61-6 (ER) - Body ground Turn signal switch in RH position OFF to ON 9 V or higher to below 1 V
D61-5 (EL) - Body ground Turn signal switch in LH position OFF to ON 9 V or higher to below 1 V
D61-8 (EHW) - Body ground Hazard warning switch OFF to ON 9 V or higher to below 1 V
D61-2 (LR) - Body ground Turn signal switch in RH position OFF to ON Below 1 V to 9 V (60 to 120 times per minute)
D61-3 (LL) - Body ground Turn signal switch in LH position OFF to ON Below 1 V to 9 V (60 to 120 times per minute)
D61-2 (LR) - Body ground Hazard warning switch OFF to ON Below 1 V to 9 V (60 to 120 times per minute)
D61-3 (LL) - Body ground Hazard warning switch OFF to ON Below 1 V to 9 V (60 to 120 times per minute)

If the result is not as specified, the turn signal flasher assembly may have a malfunction.
