CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

  1. INSTALL SPEED SENSOR

    1. Connect the speed sensor connector to the speed sensor.

    2. Using a T25 "TORX" socket wrench, install the speed sensor to the cylinder block sub-assembly with the "TORX" bolt.

      8.0 N*m

      82 kgf*cm

      71 in.*lbf

      Note:

      If the speed sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.

  2. INSTALL ENGINE SPEED SENSOR PROTECTOR

    1. A327053

      Engage the 2 clamps and install engine speed sensor protector.

    2. Engage the wire harness clamp.
