VEHICLE PROXIMITY NOTIFICATION SYSTEM


  1. FUNCTION


    1. The vehicle approaching speaker switch that stops the operation of the vehicle proximity notification system is positioned in the integration control and panel assembly on the left side of the driver seat instrument panel.

    2. The vehicle approaching speaker switch uses a momentary switch. Each time the switch is operated, the system switches between stopping and permitting operation of the vehicle proximity notification system.

    3. The vehicle approaching speaker switch indicator light illuminates while the notification sound will be not output.

    4. Stop operation of the vehicle proximity notification system using the vehicle approaching speaker switch will be canceled when the ignition switch is turned off, and the next time the ignition switch is turned on (READY), the vehicle proximity notification system turns on.
