CLUTCH PEDAL(for RHD) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

  1. ADJUST NO. 1 BLOWER DAMPER SERVO SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Air Conditioning System)

    Note:

    When removing the No. 2 air duct sub-assembly, change the A/C to DEF mode beforehand, as the No. 1 blower servo sub-assembly may be damaged otherwise.

  2. REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

  3. REMOVE NO. 2 AIR DUCT SUB-ASSEMBLY

  4. REMOVE CLUTCH PEDAL SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the 2 connectors and 2 clamps.

    2. C279742

      Push the clutch master cylinder push rod clevis upward and toward the left side of the vehicle.

      Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts and clutch pedal support sub-assembly.

  5. REMOVE CLUTCH START SWITCH ASSEMBLY

  7. REMOVE CLUTCH PEDAL SPRING

    1. Remove the clutch pedal spring.

  8. REMOVE CLUTCH PEDAL SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. C128473

      Remove the bolt, nut and clutch pedal sub-assembly from the clutch pedal support.

  9. REMOVE CLUTCH PEDAL SPRING HOLDER

    1. Remove the clutch pedal spring holder.

  10. REMOVE CLUTCH PEDAL SHAFT COLLAR

    1. Remove the 2 bushes and clutch pedal shaft collar.

  11. REMOVE NO. 1 CLUTCH PEDAL CUSHION

    1. Remove the No. 1 clutch pedal cushion from the clutch pedal sub-assembly.

  12. REMOVE CLUTCH PEDAL PAD

    1. Remove the clutch pedal pad from the clutch pedal sub-assembly.
