The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization, or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed and installed, or replaced during ion generator sub-assembly removal/installation are shown below.

  1. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT

    Click here

  3. REMOVE NO. 2 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT (w/ Headup Display)

  4. REMOVE DEFROSTER NOZZLE ASSEMBLY (w/ Headup Display)

  5. REMOVE METER MIRROR SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Headup Display)

  6. REMOVE NO. 1 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT SUB-ASSEMBLY

  7. REMOVE AIR DUCT SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

      Remove the screw and air duct sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

  8. REMOVE ION GENERATOR WITH BRACKET


    1. for LHD:


      1. B00842Y

        Disconnect the connector.

      2. Remove the 2 screws.

      3. Disengage the 2 guides to remove the ion generator with bracket.

    2. for RHD:


      1. B0088HZ

        Disconnect the connector.

      2. Remove the 2 screws.

      3. Disengage the 2 guides to remove the ion generator with bracket.

  9. REMOVE AIR DUCT SUB-ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

      Remove the screw and air duct sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

  10. REMOVE ION GENERATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 3 screws and ion generator sub-assembly from the No. 1 ion generator bracket.
