AIRBAG SYSTEM, Diagnostic DTC:B1630/23

DTC Code DTC Name
B1630/23 Rear Airbag Sensor RH Circuit Malfunction

DESCRIPTION

The side collision sensor RH circuit (to determine deployment of the front seat airbag assembly RH, curtain shield airbag assembly RH and front seat outer belt assembly RH) consists of the airbag sensor assembly, side airbag sensor assembly RH and side No. 2 airbag sensor assembly RH.

The side airbag sensor assembly RH and side No. 2 airbag sensor assembly RH detect impacts to the vehicle and send signals to the airbag sensor assembly to determine if the airbags and pretensioner should be deployed.

DTC B1630/23 is stored when a malfunction is detected in the side collision sensor RH circuit.
