CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE ENGINE SPEED SENSOR PROTECTOR

    1. A327053

      Disengage the wire harness clamp.

    2. Disengage the 2 clamps and engine speed sensor protector.

  2. REMOVE SPEED SENSOR

    1. A327054

      Using a T25 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the "TORX" bolt and separate the speed sensor from the cylinder block sub-assembly.

    2. A327055

      Disconnect the speed sensor connector.

      Note:

      If the speed sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.
