PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT REAR NO. 2 SEAT HEADREST ADJUSTER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Check the operation of the motor.

        (Rear No. 2 Seat Headrest Adjuster Sub-Assembly)

        B006DHE Upward
        B006B42 Downward

        Check that the rear No. 2 seat headrest adjuster sub-assembly moves smoothly when the battery is connected to the motor connector terminals.

        OK
        Tester Connection Operational Direction

        R36-4 - battery positive (+)

        R36-1 - battery negative (-)

        Upward

        R36-1 - battery positive (+)

        R36-4 - battery negative (-)

        Downward
        If the result is not as specified, replace the rear No. 2 seat headrest adjuster sub-assembly.
  2. INSPECT REAR NO. 1 SEAT HEADREST ADJUSTER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Check the operation of the motor.

        Component without harness connected

        (Rear No. 1 Seat Headrest Adjuster Sub-Assembly)

        B006DHE Upward
        B006B42 Downward

        Check that the rear No. 1 seat headrest adjuster sub-assembly moves smoothly when the battery is connected to the motor connector terminals.

        OK
        Tester Connection Operational Direction

        R2-4 - battery positive (+)

        R2-1 - battery negative (-)

        Upward

        R2-1 - battery positive (+)

        R2-4 - battery negative (-)

        Downward
        If the result is not as specified, replace the rear No. 1 seat headrest adjuster sub-assembly.
  3. INSPECT REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Check the operation of the motor.

        B006DHE Frontward
        B006B42 Backward

        Check that the rear seat headrest assembly LH moves smoothly when the battery is connected to the motor connector terminals.

        OK

        R37-2 - battery positive (+)

        R37-1 - battery negative (-)

        Frontward

        R37-1 - battery positive (+)

        R37-2 - battery negative (-)

        Backward
        If the result is not as specified, replace the rear seat headrest assembly LH.
  4. INSPECT REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY RH


    1. Check the operation of the motor.

        Check that the rear seat headrest assembly RH moves smoothly when the battery is connected to the motor connector terminals.
