ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR INSTALLATION

Tech Tips

Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing the E.F.I. engine coolant temperature sensor and engine coolant temperature sensor.


PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL E.F.I. ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR

    Tech Tips

    Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing the E.F.I. engine coolant temperature sensor.



    1. for Rear:


      1. Install a new gasket to the E.F.I. engine coolant temperature sensor.

      2. B006BBQN01

        Using SST, install the E.F.I. engine coolant temperature sensor.

        SST
        09817-33191
        Torque:
        19.6 N*m  { 200 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf }

        Note

        If the E.F.I. engine coolant temperature sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.

      3. Connect the E.F.I. engine coolant temperature sensor connector.

      4. Install the cowl top ventilator sub-assembly.

    2. for Front:


      1. Install a new gasket to the E.F.I. engine coolant temperature sensor.

      2. B006B4HN01

        Using SST, install the E.F.I. engine coolant temperature sensor.

        SST
        09817-33191
        Torque:
        19.6 N*m  { 200 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf }

        Note

        If the E.F.I. engine coolant temperature sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.

      3. Connect the E.F.I. engine coolant temperature sensor connector.

  2. INSTALL ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR

    Tech Tips

    Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing the engine coolant temperature sensor.



    1. Install a new gasket to the engine coolant temperature sensor.

    2. Insert the engine coolant temperature sensor to the end of the rear water by-pass joint and secure it with the clip.

      Note

      If the engine coolant temperature sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.

    3. Connect the engine coolant temperature sensor connector.

  3. INSTALL LOWER RADIATOR AIR DEFLECTOR
