DESCRIPTION

The power steering ECU assembly receives vehicle speed signals from the brake booster with master cylinder (skid control ECU) via CAN communication. The ECU provides appropriate assisting force in accordance with the vehicle speed, based on the signals.

Note

If the power steering ECU assembly has been replaced with a new one, perform assist map writing and rotation angle sensor value initialization torque sensor zero point calibration after performing the initialization of the torque sensor zero point value Click here.

  1. CHECK OTHER DTC OUTPUT (CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM)


    1. Check if DTC U0129/42 is output (See page for with Central Gateway ECU or Click here for without Central Gateway ECU).
