ECO SWITCH INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT ECO SWITCH ASSEMBLY (ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE SWITCH ASSEMBLY)

    Component without harness connected

    (ECO Switch Assembly (Electric Parking Brake Switch Assembly))

    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      K37-14 (ECU) - K37-9 (GND1) ECO switch assembly (electric parking brake switch assembly) on (when switch is pressed) Below 10 Ω
      E37-14 (ECU) - K37-9 (GND1) ECO switch assembly (electric parking brake switch assembly) off (when switch is not pressed) 100 kΩ or higher

    2. Check that the switch illuminates.


      1. Apply battery voltage to the ECO switch assembly (electric parking brake switch assembly) and check that the switch illuminates.

        Tester Connection Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → K37-6 (ILL+)

        Battery negative (-) → K37-2 (ILL-)
