  1. CONSTRUCTION


    1. For models with a camera heater, the camera heater installed between the forward recognition camera and windshield glass, is heated according to signals from the forward recognition camera in order to prevent the windshield glass on the front of the forward recognition camera from fogging up, and also to remove fog buildup.

    2. The camera heater is composed of the sheet heater (heating element) and temperature fuse, etc. An electrical current is run through the sheet heater (heating element) to generate heat and warm the front portion of the forward recognition camera.

  2. OPERATION


    1. When all of the following conditions have been met, the camera heater operates.


      • The ignition switch is turned to ON.

      • The ambient temperature is approximately 10°C or less.

      • A few minutes have elapsed since the camera heater operation stopped.

    2. After the camera heater operates, the operation will stop when a certain length of time has elapsed.
