FRONT PROPELLER SHAFT ASSEMBLY(for TMT Made) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL NO. 3 ENGINE UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Cover)

  2. REMOVE PROPELLER SHAFT GUARD


    1. A01SIBL

      Remove the 2 bolts and propeller shaft guard.

    2. Remove the propeller shaft guard bracket LH.

      Tech Tips

      Perform this procedure only when replacement of the propeller shaft guard bracket LH is necessary.


      1. A01W8Z6

        w/ Urea SCR System:

        Remove the 3 bolts and propeller shaft guard bracket LH.

      2. A01WBMI

        w/o Urea SCR System:

        Remove the 2 bolts and propeller shaft guard bracket LH.

    3. Remove the 2 bolts and propeller shaft guard bracket RH.

      Tech Tips

      Perform this procedure only when replacement of the propeller shaft guard bracket RH is necessary.

  3. REMOVE FRONT PROPELLER SHAFT ASSEMBLY


    1. A01SHPWC01
      *a Matchmark

      Place matchmarks on the propeller shaft flange and transfer flange.

    2. Remove the 4 nuts and 4 washers.

    3. A01SGLBC01
      *a Matchmark

      Place matchmarks on the propeller shaft flange and differential flange.

    4. Remove the 4 bolts, 4 nuts and 4 washers.

    5. Remove the front propeller shaft assembly.
