STOP LIGHT SWITCH REMOVAL

  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE STOP LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY

    1. for LHD:

      1. E274735

        Disconnect the connector.

      2. E274736C03

        *a

        Lock Nut

        Loosen the lock nut.

      3. Turn the stop light switch assembly counterclockwise and remove it.

    2. for LHD:

      1. E269072

        Disconnect the connector.

      2. Turn the stop light switch assembly counterclockwise and remove it.

  3. REMOVE STOP LIGHT SWITCH MOUNTING ADJUSTER (for RHD)

    1. Detach the 2 claws to remove the stop light switch mounting adjuster.
