REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY(for Reclining Seat Type) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the rear seat headrest assembly.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  2. REMOVE REAR CENTER SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the rear center seat headrest assembly.

  3. DISCONNECT REAR CENTER SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY

      Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disconnect the rear center seat outer belt assembly as shown in the illustration.

  4. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY

      *a Rear Seat Cushion Frame Hook (Front Side)
      *b Rear Seat Cushion Frame Hook (Rear Side)

      B00847Z Remove in this Direction (1)
      B008776 Remove in this Direction (2)

      Lift the front edge of the rear seat cushion assembly as shown in the illustration and disengage the 2 rear seat cushion frame hooks on the front side of the rear seat cushion assembly from the rear seat cushion lock hooks.

      Note

      Be sure to hold the parts of the rear seat cushion assembly directly next to the rear seat cushion frame hooks when lifting it. Lifting a different part of the rear seat cushion assembly may deform the rear seat cushion frame.

      Area Measurement
      A 245 mm (9.64 in.)
    2. Disengage the 2 rear seat cushion frame hooks on the rear side of the rear seat cushion assembly as shown in the illustration and remove the rear seat cushion assembly.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

    3. w/ Seat Heater System:


      1. Disconnect each connector.

  5. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION LOCK HOOK

      Disengage the 2 claws to remove the rear seat cushion lock hook as shown in the illustration.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  6. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK COVER

      Disengage the 4 claws and remove the 2 rear seatback covers from the rear seatback assembly LH.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side.

  7. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Disconnect the rear seat outer belt assembly LH from the rear seat shoulder belt guide LH.

      Disengage the 2 hooks and disconnect the cover from the package tray trim panel assembly.

      Remove the 2 nuts, 2 bolts and rear seatback assembly LH.

    4. w/ Seat Heater System:


      1. Disconnect the connector.

      2. Disengage the clamp.

  8. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH


    1. Disconnect each rear seat outer belt from the rear seat shoulder belt guide RH and rear seat center shoulder belt guide.

      Disengage the 2 hooks and disconnect the cover from the package tray trim panel assembly.

      Remove the 2 nuts, 2 bolts and rear seatback assembly RH.

    4. w/ Seat Heater System:


      1. Disengage the clamp.

  9. REMOVE CENTER SEATBACK ASSEMBLY


    1. Disconnect the connector.

      Remove the 2 bolts.

    3. Disengage the 2 guides.

    4. Disengage the hook and remove the center seatback assembly as shown in the illustration.

  10. DISCONNECT REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH


    1. Disconnect the rear door opening trim weatherstrip LH.

  11. REMOVE REAR SIDE SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH


    1. B00876A

      Remove the bolt.

    2. Disengage the hook and remove the rear side seatback assembly LH.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

  12. DISCONNECT REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  13. REMOVE REAR SIDE SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
