AIR CONDITIONING PANEL(for Automatic Air Conditioning System) REMOVAL

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH

  2. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH

  3. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  4. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Audio, for Radio and Display Type)

  5. REMOVE STEREO OPENING COVER WITH BRACKET (w/o Audio)

  6. REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER WITH BRACKET (w/ Audio)

    1. for Radio Receiver Type:

      Remove the radio receiver assembly with bracket (Click here).

    2. for Radio and Display Type:

      Remove the radio receiver assembly with bracket (Click here).

  7. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY

  8. REMOVE POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING ASSEMBLY (except Manual Transaxle)

    Click here

  9. REMOVE SHIFTING HOLE COVER (for Manual Transaxle)

  10. REMOVE LOWER CENTER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL (except Manual Transaxle)

  11. REMOVE LOWER CENTER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL (for Manual Transaxle)

  12. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY

    1. Detach the 4 clips.

    2. Disconnect the connector and remove the air conditioning control.
