SHIFT LEVER REASSEMBLY

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

Tip:

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

PROCEDURE

  1. INSTALL SHIFT LOCK RELEASE BUTTON

    1. Attach the 2 claws and install the shift lock release button with spring to the position indicator housing.

  2. INSTALL INDICATOR LIGHT

    1. Using a plastic bag, attach the claw and install the indicator light to the position indicator housing.

  3. INSTALL NO. 2 POSITION INDICATOR SLIDE COVER

    1. Install the No. 2 position indicator slide cover to the position indicator slide cover.

  4. INSTALL POSITION INDICATOR SLIDE COVER

    1. Install the position indicator slide cover together with No. 2 position indicator slide cover to the position indicator housing.

  5. INSTALL POSITION INDICATOR LENS

    1. Attach the 4 claws and install the position indicator lens to the position indicator housing.

  6. INSTALL CONTROL POSITION INDICATOR PLATE

    1. Attach the hook and claw and install the control position indicator plate to the position indicator housing.

  7. INSTALL POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING

    1. Install the position indicator housing to the upper console panel sub-assembly with the 4 screws.

  8. INSTALL SHIFT LOCK RELEASE BUTTON COVER

    1. Attach the 2 claws and install the shift lock release button cover to the upper console panel sub-assembly.
