POWER STEERING OIL PRESSURE SWITCH INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

  1. INSTALL POWER STEERING OIL PRESSURE SWITCH

    1. Install a new O-ring to the power steering oil pressure switch.

    2. Apply a light coat of engine oil to the O-ring.

      Fulcrum Length

      Using SST, install the power steering oil pressure switch.

      Tip:

      • Use a torque wrench with a fulcrum length of 30 cm (11.8 in.). When using a torque wrench with a fulcrum length that is not 30 cm (11.8 in.), calculate the torque specification for the torque wrench and SST based on the "without SST" torque specification (Click hereClick hereClick here).

      • Make sure SST and the torque wrench are connected in a straight line.

    4. Connect the power steering oil pressure switch connector.

  2. INSTALL FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT

    1. Install the fan and generator V belt (Click here).

  3. ADD POWER STEERING FLUID

  4. BLEED AIR FROM POWER STEERING SYSTEM

  5. INSPECT FOR POWER STEERING FLUID LEAK

  6. CHECK POWER STEERING FLUID LEVEL

  7. INSTALL FRONT FENDER APRON SEAL RH

  8. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL
