VACUUM SENSOR ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

  1. INSTALL VACUUM SENSOR GROMMET

    1. Install a new vacuum sensor grommet to the brake booster assembly.

  2. INSTALL VACUUM SENSOR ASSEMBLY

    1. Install the vacuum sensor assembly to the brake booster assembly so that the vacuum sensor assembly is angled as shown in the illustration.

      Note:

      • Push the area (A) when installing the vacuum sensor assembly.

      • Do not push the area (B) when installing the vacuum sensor assembly.

    2. Connect the vacuum sensor assembly connector.

  3. INSTALL BATTERY CLAMP SUB-ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

  5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (for LHD)

    Note:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
