BRAKE BOOSTER(for RHD) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER PUSH ROD CLEVIS


    1. Temporarily install the lock nut and brake master cylinder push rod clevis to the brake booster assembly.

      *1 Lock Nut
      *2 Brake Master Cylinder Push Rod Clevis
      *a Push Rod Length

      Set the push rod length as shown in the illustration.

      Push rod length
      155.2 mm (6.11 in.)

    3. Tighten the lock nut.

      Torque:
      19 N*m  { 194 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL BRAKE BOOSTER ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the brake booster assembly to the vehicle body with the 4 nuts.

      Torque:
      18 N*m  { 184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Do not kink or damage the brake lines.

  3. INSTALL PUSH ROD PIN

  4. REMOVE AND INSTALL TCM (for Automatic Transmission)

  5. INSTALL LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIR BAG ASSEMBLY (w/ Knee Airbag)

  6. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Knee Airbag)

  7. INSTALL INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH (w/o Knee Airbag)

  8. INSTALL BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  9. INSPECT AND ADJUST BRAKE PEDAL
