The R156F 5-speed manual transmission is used on the 4WD models for Europe except Morocco, Russia and Ukraine with 1KD-FTV or 2KD-FTV High Version engine.
A reverse synchromesh mechanism is used for the reverse gear to enhance the ease of operation.
