NAME PLATE INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

  1. INSTALL SYMBOL EMBLEM

    Tip:

    When installing the symbol emblem, heat the vehicle body and symbol emblem using a heat light.

    40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F)

    Symbol Emblem

    20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)

    Note:

    Do not heat the vehicle body or symbol emblem excessively.

    1. Clean the vehicle body surface.

      1. Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body surface.

      2. Remove the double-sided tape from the vehicle body.

      3. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

      Boss

      Install a new symbol emblem.

      1. Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body and a new symbol emblem.

      2. Remove the peeling paper from the face of the symbol emblem.

        Tip:

        After removing the peeling paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

      3. Align the boss positions and install the symbol emblem.

        Tip:

        Press the symbol emblem firmly to install it.

  2. INSTALL NO. 1 BACK DOOR NAME PLATE

    Tip:

    When installing the back door name plate, heat the vehicle body and back door name plate using a heat light.

      Install a new No. 1 back door name plate.

      1. Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body and a new No. 1 back door name plate.

      2. Remove the peeling paper from the face of the No. 1 back door name plate.

        Tip:

        After removing the peeling paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

      3. Install the No. 1 back door name plate in the position shown in the installation.

        Tip:

        Press the No.1back door name piate firmly to install it.

  3. INSTALL NO. 2 BACK DOOR NAME PLATE

    Tip:

    When installing the back door name plate, heat the vehicle body and back door name plate using a heat light.

      1. Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body and a new No. 2 back door name plate.

        After removing the peeling paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

      3. Install the No. 2 back door name plate in the position shown in the installation.

        Tip:

        Press the No. 2 back door name plate firmly to install it.
