FRONT CONSOLE BOX(for Hatchback, Wagon) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL

  2. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 CONSOLE BOX INSERT

      Pull the front No. 1 console box insert in the direction indicated by the arrow (1) to disengage the claw, 3 clips and guide <A>.

    2. Pull the front No. 1 console box insert in the direction indicated by the arrow (2) to disengage the guide <B> to remove the front No. 1 console box insert.

  3. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 CONSOLE BOX INSERT

      Pull the front No. 2 console box insert in the direction indicated by the arrow (1) to disengage the claw, 3 clips and guide <A>.

    2. Pull the front No. 2 console box insert in the direction indicated by the arrow (2) to disengage the guide <B> to remove the front No. 2 console box insert.

  4. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transaxle)

      Turn the shift lever knob sub-assembly counterclockwise and remove the shift lever knob sub-assembly.

  5. REMOVE SHIFTING HOLE BEZEL (for Manual Transaxle)

      Disengage the 6 claws in the order shown in the illustration.

    2. Disengage the 2 guides and remove the shifting hole bezel.

  6. REMOVE SHIFTING HOLE BEZEL (for CVT)

      Disengage the 6 claws in the order shown in the illustration.

    2. Disengage the 2 guides and remove the shifting hole bezel.

  7. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Disengage the 4 claws and 5 clips.

    2. Disconnect each connector and remove the upper console panel sub-assembly.

  8. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL

      Disengage the clamp.

    2. B334330

      Disengage the 2 claws, 5 clips and 2 guides and remove the upper console panel as shown in the illustration.

  9. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX COVER (w/o Power Outlet Socket)

      Remove the rear console box cover.

  10. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX CARPET

      Remove the console box carpet.

  11. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

    1. for Manual Transaxle:

      1. B334332

        Remove the 2 bolts and 2 screws.

    2. for CVT:

      1. B334333

        Remove the 2 bolts and 4 screws.

    3. B334334

      Disengage the 4 guides and remove the rear console box assembly as shown in the illustration.
