HEADREST ADJUSTER(for Front Seat) INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT FRONT SEAT HEADREST INSERT SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Check the operation of the motor.

        Component without harness connected

        (Front Seat Headrest Insert Sub-Assembly LH)
        B006DHE Frontward
        B006B42 Backward

        Check that the front seat headrest insert sub-assembly LH moves smoothly when the battery is connected to the motor connector terminals.

        OK
        Tester Connection Operational Direction

        S17-5 - battery positive (+)

        S17-8 - battery negative (-)

        		 Frontward

        S17-8 - battery positive (+)

        S17-5 - battery negative (-)

        		 Backward
        If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat headrest insert sub-assembly LH.

  2. INSPECT FRONT SEAT HEADREST INSERT SUB-ASSEMBLY RH


    1. Check the operation of the motor.

        (Front Seat Headrest Insert Sub-Assembly RH)
        B006DHE Frontward
        B006B42 Backward

        Check that the front seat headrest insert sub-assembly RH moves smoothly when the battery is connected to the motor connector terminals.

        OK
        Tester Connection Operational Direction

        S9-5 - battery positive (+)

        S9-8 - battery negative (-)

        		 Frontward

        S9-8 - battery positive (+)

        S9-5 - battery negative (-)

        		 Backward
        If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat headrest insert sub-assembly RH.

  3. INSPECT FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY


    1. Check the operation of the motor.


      1. B005TITC02
        *a

        Component without harness connected

        (Front Seat Headrest Assembly)
        B006DHE Upward
        B006B42 Downward

        Check that the front seat headrest assembly moves smoothly when the battery is connected to the motor connector terminals.

        OK
        Tester Connection Operational Direction

        2 - battery positive (+)

        1 - battery negative (-)

        		 Upward

        1 - battery positive (+)

        2 - battery negative (-)

        		 Downward
        If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat headrest assembly.
