Accumulator Low Pressure

After braking, the fluid pressure inside the accumulator is less than the threshold within 3.2 seconds.

  • Hydraulic circuit

  • Master cylinder solenoid (Accumulator pressure sensor)

When replacing the master cylinder solenoid, perform calibration (Click here).

PROCEDURE

  1. CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS

    1. Check with the customer to determine if frequent braking has been performed.

  2. RECONFIRM DTC

    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Click here

      Chassis > ABS/VSC/TRC > Clear DTCs

    2. Turn the engine switch off.

    3. Depress the brake pedal more than 40 times.

    4. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    5. Wait for 99 seconds.

    6. Check if the same DTC is output.

      Tip:

      Excessive brake pedal operation results in abnormal accumulator pressure consumption. This is normal.

  4. READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (ACCUMULATOR SENSOR)

    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the intelligent tester on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRC / Data List.
