SEAT HEATER SYSTEM GENERAL GENERAL

  1. OUTLINE

    1. A seat heater system is available for the front seats.

    2. The seat heater function can be turned on or off using the seat heater switch located in the lower section of the front seat cushion shield assembly.

    3. Each seat heater switch has a built-in indicator light. The indicator light will illuminate in yellow to indicate that the heater function is operating.

    4. Thermostats that are enclosed in the cushions control the output temperature of the seat heater.

    5. The thermostat each shuts off power to the front seat heater when its temperature reaches approximately 44°C and resumes power supply when its temperature drops to approximately 40°C.

    6. If the engine switch is turned on (IG) again within approximately 2 minutes of being turned off with a seat heater on, the seat heater will turn back on.
