WATER PUMP REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. DRAIN COOLANT (for Intercooler)

    Click here

  2. DISCONNECT NO. 4 INTERCOOLER COOLING WATER HOSE

      Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 4 intercooler cooling water hose from the intercooler reserve tank assembly.

  3. DISCONNECT NO. 1 TURBO WATER HOSE

      Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 1 turbo water hose from the intercooler reserve tank assembly.

  4. REMOVE INTERCOOLER RESERVE TANK ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 2 bolts and intercooler reserve tank assembly from the water pump bracket sub-assembly and engine mounting insulator sub-assembly RH.

  5. DISCONNECT NO. 1 INTERCOOLER COOLING WATER HOSE

      Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 1 intercooler cooling water hose from the intercooler reserve tank assembly.

  6. DISCONNECT NO. 2 INTERCOOLER COOLING WATER HOSE


    1. A01RAJ6

      Disengage the clamp from the water pump bracket sub-assembly.

    2. Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 2 intercooler cooling water hose from the electric water pump assembly.

  7. REMOVE NO. 1 INTERCOOLER COOLING WATER HOSE

      Slide the clip and remove the No. 1 intercooler cooling water hose from the electric water pump assembly.

  8. REMOVE ELECTRIC WATER PUMP ASSEMBLY


    1. A01RE50

      Disconnect the electric water pump assembly connector.

    2. Remove the 2 bolts and electric water pump assembly from the water pump bracket sub-assembly.
