GLOW PLUG (w/ EGR Cooler) REMOVAL


  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  2. REMOVE EGR COOLER


    1. Remove the EGR cooler Click here.

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 GLOW PLUG CONNECTOR


    1. Remove the bolt and No. 2 intake manifold stay.

    2. Remove the nut and wire harness.

    3. Remove the 4 screw grommets, 4 nuts and glow plug connector.

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 INTAKE MANIFOLD INSULATOR


    1. A01DXBZ

      Remove the manifold insulator from the cylinder head.

  5. REMOVE GLOW PLUG ASSEMBLY


    1. A01E28J

      Using a 12 mm deep socket wrench, remove the 4 glow plugs.
